Benalmadena
This town in the province of Malaga is situated between Torremolinos and Fuengirola.

Phoenician, Carthaginian, Roman, Visigoth and Arab influences have all saped Benalmadena, which consists of three areas: Benalmadena-Pueblo, in the mountains, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena-Costa, a first class tourist resort.

Tapas bars, a wide range of cuisine and the open character of the people make this town a fun place to be with a nightlife wich is second to none.

The cable car at Benalmadena is one of the highlights of the town, starting near the rail station and going well up into the mountains. The views from the top are spectacular and the walk down is very enjoyable (although sometimes a little tricky).

The beaches, Bil-Bil Castle and the delightful marina, declared one of the world's finest for its housing complex, make Benalmadena a charming place to spend a holiday.

Opened in 1994 these 18 holes of golf can be found situated between the Mediterranean sea and the mountains. With the large number of lakes and strategic placed bunkers every hole is a different experience.
